Blue and Lonesome!

Image
Dear readers, Hello from the other side (of the computer screen). I came back sooner this time as I usually post once a month only. But I could not resist dressing up and going out to soak up on the sun, before it becomes unbearable. This is the perfect time of the year for me because that's when unpacking for summer begins. Ooh, the gorgeous clothes, packed away for a long, long time finally get to be free.    Culottes were all the rage last summer as they should be, but I adopted the trend late. Anyway, once you get in the habit of wearing them, other pants start to become an eyesore. They're way too comfortable in the summer and look stylish. Wear 'em with anything and you're good to go. So, I paired them with this blue over sized top, which looks and feels like denim, but is actually not. Also, it has the name of my dream city (New York, you got it). And because it's way too over sized, I cinched it with a belt, and it looked nice. Then I added ballet flats...

Hey guys, hope you all are having a great time. If not, you will, you still have the rest of the day to make it great. And summer's almost here, so it will be great soon anyway.  So, do you know which is the highest viewed post in this dear blog of mine?  This is. Back To School!!  Thank you for making it so. Owing to its popularity, I decided to do a similar post this time. Schoolgirl-y kinda thing. Hope you guys will make it the next highest viewed post, haha. Forgive my assumption. Anyway, here it goes. I paired this gorgeous little black dress that I bought at Thamel with this cute striped t-shirt. And since it's still cold outside, a warm coat is a must. My sister brought me this tribal necklace from South Africa, which is the most beautiful piece of accessory in my closet. It complimented the entire look, so I kept the rest of it simple. And a pair of translucent stockings with brown ankle boots to bring out that girly vibe. Oh, and to look more like a scho...

Sweet Nothings!

Hey y'all! My blog was on the verge of closure this month because of my new job (stressful AF). But then I thought "Hey, sod it, this blog is my brainchild, I can manage my time if I really, really want to". So, I just went ahead and asked my sister, who's a great stylist herself, to bring some clothes at the place where I work. And we went crazy and traveled all day and had an amazing time, the results of which you can see below. I wore a half sweater for this post, alone, because it looked great in itself. And this green bling skirt that I love to wear, to parties and shoots. And because I am a minimalist, I kept the look simple with brown ankle boots, a bracelet and headband. I braided my hair for that bohemian look. What do you think? Oh, and I just want to say thank you to the handful of people who read my blog. You guys are great, keep on supporting me. I will send beautiful posts your way, in spite of all the time I don't have. Love you...

Potterfeet....

Harry Potter fans are called potterheads, but I am not a potterhead. I am a pottermind, potterbody and pottersoul. So, you can only imagine my ecstasy when I received a pair of gorgeous "Harry Potter" converse shoes from my coolest bro, which I will treasure forever and ever.  A sweater dress seemed perfect for these shoes, so I opted for my favorite green one. And another sweater on top instantly turned up the heat in this cold, cold weather. Just a regular pair of stockings instead of pants and cute earrings (from my cool bro, again) accessorized the look minimally. How do you like the pairing? You will need to forgive my lateness this month. I swear I won't quit blogging, no matter how many excuses I can come up with. So, After all this time? Always.... Who says you can't wear a shirt-dress in winter? You can! If the layering's right!! I tried doing it too, and it looked like this, Darling, Behold the sight How to create an interesting look Oh, it gave me such a fright, Added a turtleneck, trench coat and boots And I think I looked pretty alright....... Haha, I got tired of writing cover stories for my posts, so I tried writing something else. My feeble attempt at penning a poem is bonkers, but so am I. So, just ignore the words and look at the pictures. And tell me what you think? Bye, love!! Hello from the Autumn Side!

Image
OH NO, Autumn's here, which means harsh winter is just around the corner and I shudder at the thought of it. I did not post anything throughout October because I was preparing for my IELTS test, and man, the test was awesome and I'm secretly praying for an awesome band score.  So, what do you wear during autumn? I can still see girls flaunting their summer dresses in Kathmandu, which is cool. But my body (ahem, oldie alert) and this weather demands a bit more cover-up. So, I grabbed this printed sweatshirt from my closet, which is just the perfect material and style. And drawstring pants for added comfort and warmth. I stole my sister's favorite pair of shoes for this post, she wears them everyday. It's huge though, my feet felt heavy, guess I'm not used to these kind of shoes. But oh well, it looked nice anyway. I'm also wearing a black beanie, but I guess it's invisible here, since my hair is the same color. Planning to become a redhead soon, though...

Hi guys, How have you all been? I didn't post twice this month and for that I have many excuses. Wanna hear the main one? Well, I had bigger plans for this month's post, but sometimes the mighty life deliberately throws you backwards. You don't have any other option but to accept it and start again, from one step back. Whew! The other reason is my  music video.  Yes, guys, I acted in a music video out of sheer curiosity. You can watch it  here.  Do you think I suck at acting? If yes, let me know, lol. So, as I recently graduated from university, my academic life is on pause for a year or so. But then I remembered the place where I started it all - school. I studied in the same school for almost 7 years and it's uniform was a sky blue shirt, dark blue skirt, blue socks and cute black Mary Janes. I drew inspiration from exactly that for this post. I traded the dark blue skirt for this black mesh skirt (my summer staple) and ditched the socks, since it's s...
