Happy Birthday, Blog!

Image
When I started this blog, I had a head full of ideas, wardrobe full of clothes and a lot of spare time in my hands (as I had just graduated). And now it's two years old ! So on it's birthday, I am dedicating this post entirely to the blog itself.  Some days I felt like "Ugh, why bother! Who reads this nonsense", while other days I was consumed by happiness when my Stats page showed that people from all over the world were reading my blog (India, Australia, USA, France, UAE, UK, Kenya, Spain etc.). And when some of my dear friends called me and said "Hey, why haven't you posted anything lately? I am waiting", I felt like I had been awarded the Oscars for blogging. Most of the times, I dragged my sister all over the town to click my pictures, without whom this blog could not have survived. And since my only photography tool was my mobile - Samsung Galaxy J5, you can see that most of the pictures are not quite up to the standard of a fashion

Winter Schwinter

Image
Who else hates winter like me, the never-ending feeling of cold, runny nose and the need to bundle up? Kathmandu is growing colder day by day, like Elsa just got angry all over again. And I'm adapting like everyone else. Despite the general hatred, I don't remain behind in looking presentable for winter. Hence, I piled up two sweaters with my gorgeous waistcoat and go-to summer skirt. To neutralize the colorful ensemble, I wore these oxfords made by the king of shoe-making in Nepal, which is great in terms of both comfort and style. This fabulous pair of sunglasses which is heart shaped upped the style quotient. Take a look. On an ending note, Do Visit Nepal . I myself get enthralled from time to time when I see the wondrous beauty of my country. As they say "Heaven is a myth, Nepal is real" Sweater (inside): The Cashmere Outlet Sweater (outside): F.B Skirt: H&M Waistcoat, socks: Local Store Oxfords: DULLA

Off-duty Favorite

What do people usually do when they're bored? Get a haircut? Change jobs? Well me, I'm a much simpler girl. When I was bored, I changed the entire layout of my blog, tihihi!! I hope it isn't too problematic for you to navigate around. If it is, let me know in the comments below. Jumpsuits, which originated as a practical piece of clothing for parachuters and sky divers, as well as race car drivers and aviators, has become a fashion staple for every girl worldwide. Be it during the day or night, in or out of the office, while shopping or bar-hopping, they fit the bill (except bathroom breaks lol).  There are a myriad of ways to style a jumpsuit. But I just chose this beautiful patterned scarf and silver plated bangles to accessorize minimally. A mini backpack to carry my essentials and a comfortable pair of slingback flats completed the look, my aviators being the cherry on top. How do you like the look? Jumpsuit: Cotton Collectio

Well-Dressed Sloth

Image
Hello after a long time, dear readers! I haven't created a post since the last one and a half months, the reasons for which are not really relevant to mention here. As all those reasons add up to one thing: laziness. So, for lack of a better word, you can call me a sloth. Despite the disinclination to exert myself for other things, I am never ever dressed shabbily. hence the title for this post. So, what makes an outfit really stand out? Labels that call out the name of big brands? No! Clean and well structured clothes, the confidence to carry them off and of course, a little bit of love. After all, love is the only thing that makes the world go round. For this post, I combined a white shirt (pink borders, so cute) with black comfortable culottes and ankle boots. And flaunted his shirt above that, which looked cool. How do you like it? Lastly, a quote by John Mark Green, " And if love be madness, may I never find sanity again "  :D
