HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018! What is your resolution for this year? Mine is to upgrade my style a bit (as suggested by some of my friends), regularly post in my dear blog, travel to at least 10 new places and live, laugh and love. Let's check at the end of 2018 if I have kept all of my resolutions... In Nepal, New Years is celebrated on April 14; this year we will be celebrating the arrival of year 2075. Quite interesting to note that Nepalese people are 57 years older than those who observe the Anno Domini version. Haha! Facts aside, I wore this yellow slit top with checked shirt, as you cannot imagine wearing a slit top alone in the cold weather of Kathmandu. The silver collar necklace complimented the look. I have no idea if yellow and red are meant to be worn together, but I wore the combination anyway because style is all about what feels right on you. Winter Schwinter

Who else hates winter like me, the never-ending feeling of cold, runny nose and the need to bundle up? Kathmandu is growing colder day by day, like Elsa just got angry all over again. And I'm adapting like everyone else. Despite the general hatred, I don't remain behind in looking presentable for winter. Hence, I piled up two sweaters with my gorgeous waistcoat and go-to summer skirt. To neutralize the colorful ensemble, I wore these oxfords made by the king of shoe-making in Nepal, which is great in terms of both comfort and style.
