Happy Birthday, Blog!


When I started this blog, I had a head full of ideas, wardrobe full of clothes and a lot of spare time in my hands (as I had just graduated). And now it's two years old! So on it's birthday, I am dedicating this post entirely to the blog itself. 

Some days I felt like "Ugh, why bother! Who reads this nonsense", while other days I was consumed by happiness when my Stats page showed that people from all over the world were reading my blog (India, Australia, USA, France, UAE, UK, Kenya, Spain etc.). And when some of my dear friends called me and said "Hey, why haven't you posted anything lately? I am waiting", I felt like I had been awarded the Oscars for blogging.

Most of the times, I dragged my sister all over the town to click my pictures, without whom this blog could not have survived. And since my only photography tool was my mobile - Samsung Galaxy J5, you can see that most of the pictures are not quite up to the standard of a fashion blog. 

Oh well, minor things like that didn't matter, when I had a burning passion inside me. Even though I could not pursue fashion as a full-time career, I will always channel my creativity through this blog. Despite everything, the total page views of my blog has reached 14,172 until the moment I am typing this. So, I would like to thank each and every one of you for stumbling upon my blog and deciding to give your precious time to read more.

The best kind of friendships are fierce lady friendships where you aggressively believe in each other, defend each other, and think the other deserves the world. Escapade

Namaste readers, Quick fact: Namaste is a Nepali greeting, said along with the folding of your two hands, which denotes immense love and respect. Totally unrelated with my post though. Last Saturday, my friends proposed that we go on a escapade to Bhotekoshi river, Sindhupalchowk for rafting. What a wonderful day we spent! And returned with a bag full of wet clothes, mind full of memories and muscles full of aches. Haha! After all, what does your hard-earned money mean if you don't seek all the thrills that life provides! So, I wore something that was extremely impractical for the rafting itself (had extras) but great for my blog post. This beautiful blush lace dress has always been my favorite. When paired with a leather jacket, it looked remarkably well. These ankle length gladiator sandals completed the look, without being too over-the-top.  Do you think the look turned out well? Back to School

Hi guys, How have you all been? I didn't post twice this month and for that I have many excuses. Wanna hear the main one? Well, I had bigger plans for this month's post, but sometimes the mighty life deliberately throws you backwards. You don't have any other option but to accept it and start again, from one step back. Whew! The other reason is my  music video.  Yes, guys, I acted in a music video out of sheer curiosity. You can watch it  here.  Do you think I suck at acting? If yes, let me know, lol. So, as I recently graduated from university, my academic life is on pause for a year or so. But then I remembered the place where I started it all - school. I studied in the same school for almost 7 years and it's uniform was a sky blue shirt, dark blue skirt, blue socks and cute black Mary Janes. I drew inspiration from exactly that for this post. To move, To breath To fly, To float; To gain all while you give; To roam the roads of lands remote; To travel is to love Not my words, dear readers. Just something I read on the internet which touched me immensely. Traveling really is the best source of happiness out there. This realization has recently dawned on me, otherwise I am a complete sloth. I rarely get the interest to get out of bed, let alone travel to exotic lands.  But this habit has greatly changed ever since I started to live alone. Also, my new job is so stagnant, it got depressing after a while and I needed to recharge myself.
